Like how green tea is supposed to help, not the foods that just curb appetite.

Anything?
Or any tips on weight loss?

Please and thank you :)

Foods that increase metabolism include those foods that are high in complex carbohydrates and proteins. Why? Because complex carbohydrates and proteins require more energy for the body to break down and use. This results in extra calories being burned just for the sake of digestion and cellular metabolism.

    CELERY
It is true, the more celery you eat the more weight you lose.
You don’t even have to excercise celery just helps you lose weight.

Haha Don’t do the green tea thing…my mom is a teacher and she had a student who was doing the green tea diet…the girl kept having to go to the bathroom constantly because it was giving her diarrhea! I don’t think that’s something you wanna deal with. Anyway, the secret food that I tell people to eat to assist in weight loss, is any food that’s really high in fiber (whole grains, beans, fruits, and vegetables) because your body doesn’t have the enzymes to digest fiber, so high fiber foods are generally low in calories. Also, when you eat high fiber foods and drink fluids, the fiber will swell up in your stomach and make you feel full quickly and keep you full longer. That way, you’re less likely to over eat. Studies have shown that people who consume the recommended 25-35 grams of fiber per day, are better at maintaining their weight than those who don’t. Just be sure to drink plenty of fluids along with your fiber.

By they way- as for the celery, grapefruit, or cabbage thing people suggest, the reason it helps is like I said above- it’s a vegetable/fruit that’s high in fiber and/or low in calories. So what I’m saying is, you don’t have to stick to just celery. Eat a variety of fruits, vegetables, legumes, and whole grains. Don’t forget the lean proteins too just so you can be sure you’re eating a well balanced diet. Try to eat foods from all colors of the rainbow to maximize the nutrients you’re consuming.

Yes you should also exercise when you’re trying to lose weight. Do both cardio and weight training. Cardio will help your heart’s health and speed up your metabolism. Weight training will increase your lean muscle mass. The more lean muscle you have, the easier it will be for your body to burn off fat.

I’ve heard that grapefruit helps. Drinking a lot of water does too.
